The Ghost Investigators of America operate under a strict set of rules as to not disturb niether the living nor the dead. We hope that if you decide to go gathering evidence, you follow these rules.
Whether you are in a cemetery or an old decrepit building, you will act respectfully and will not destroy your surroundings. The rule "Leave the place the same, or better, than when you arrived" applies here.Â
Wherever you may be gathering evidence, always speak with respect. Don't try to aggravate or offend the spirits you are talking with.
Never break into a place you wish to investigate. Always contact somebody about wishing to investigate, and if you are denied access, forget about it and move on to the next place.
Ouija Boards, or other similar forms of communication, are not to be used by a member of the GIA. Ouija Boards are thought to bring demons into our world.
Not necessarily a rule, but a bit of advice, do not welcome spirits to attach themselves to you. Before leaving an investigation, tell the spirits you are leaving, and that they are not welcome to come with you and need to stay where they are at.
